A Pow Wow is a gathering of North America‘s Native people. The word derives from the  Narragansett word powwaw, meaning „spiritual leader. It is an event for the tribe members to meet and dance, sing, socialise and honour their tradition and culture.


There is generally a dancing competition in different categories: Fancy Dance, Ring Dance, Grass Dance, Traditional Dance, Jingle Dress
and various more.
